Liked Breakfast comprised only a few items and thats ok, as too much gets wasted nowadays. Great location
Disliked Inhouse Rice bowl is going down in standards, leaning more towards Indian palates. Cuisine is far from Chinese standards - I have been a client of this establishment for many years.

Liked The location of the property is excellent, with most major attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was also very good, offering a nice variety of options.
Disliked For the first two nights, our room overlooked a large wall, so there was no outside view. This slightly affected the overall experience.

Liked The Southern Star's location on Lavelle Road, one of the prime areas in central Bangalore, is the best thing about it. Add to it, helpful service with a smile, sufficiently big rooms, good breakfast, and you have found more than a good reason to keep coming back to it when required.
Disliked Our room, 109, had an issue with the key slot where the lights would go on and off due to loose connection. Had informed the same to the reception desk during check-out. Also, the pillows were too huge and a bit hard.

Liked The room was very clean and quiet. Perfect location as well.
Disliked Ac system didn’t work. It would not move down from 24. Staff tried to fix it then told us it’s a central ac system. No clear solutions provided
